About Arcadia Farm

Arcadia Farm is a small, owner-operated horse farm located just north of Hillsboro, Oregon, seventeen miles west of Portland.

Our farm was born out of profound love and appreciation for Kiger Mustangs, one of the most beautiful horse breeds in the world. We count it a pleasure and a privilege to have raised a number of young Kigers and gotten them started.

What makes Kigers so special?

Each Kiger Mustang is one-of-a-kind, but they share in common a sensible, curious, friendly nature. Unlike breeds that have been shaped by humans, Kigers have been refined over hundreds of years by Nature to be everything a horse was meant to be: athletic, quick, agile, and hardy, with incredible stamina. Their gaits are very smooth, and their extended trots are glorious. As a bonus, they are easy to keep and have outstanding feet. Our approach to horsemanship

At Arcadia Farm, we are dedicated to communicating more effectively with horses. Rather than approaching training in a combative way, we strive to understand horses from their point of view; a view that continues to teach us even more than we teach them.
